Huskies Roll Over Edinboro

EDINBORO-- Tia Mazzie (Barto/Boyertown), Kelsey Quigley (Lansdale/Methacton) and Kim Springman (Downingtown/Bishop Shanahan) each scored four goals to lead the Bloomsburg University lacrosse team to a 24-3 win over Edinboro on Saturday.

The Huskies trailed 2-1 after the seven minutes of play, but scored 23 of the game's final 24 goals to win easily. Mazzie scored three of her four goals in the first half with Quigley getting two in each period, while Springman scored three of her goals in the second half. In all nine players scored for the Huskies.

Bloomsburg, 6-1, will play at Mercyhurst on Sunday at 3 p.m.
